چکیده
Purpose: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is related to metabolic diseases such as endothelial dysfunction, systemic inflammation, insülin resistance and dyslipidemia. Adropin a peptide secretion that positively affects glucose homeostasis hepatic steatosis in patients with PCOS. Lipocalin-2 mediates obesity, insulin resistance, apoptosis induced by IL-3. The levels of adropin lipocalin-2 PCOS were studied this study. Materials methods: Women (n=37) healthy controls (n=34) assessed observational cross-sectional Anthropometric measurements, demographic data, hormonal profiles, measured both groups. Results: In the study it was determined group significantly reduced. LDL-C cholesterol, Total testosterone, LH, FAI, Triglyceride LH/FSH values hirsutism score considerably lower control than group. Conclusion: fact reduced who had not yet acquired or could be detected using existing methods suggests changes are independent insulin. shows level decreases before reaches pathological levels, which associated young population. Low suggest cannot blamed for receptor dysfunction secondary

Increased serum neopterin levels in women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) occurs in 5-10% of premenopausal women. Studies suggest that PCOS is associated with increased risk of coronary heart disease (CHD). To investigate this relationship, 15 PCOS women (group 1) and 10 healthy women (group 2) were studied. Blood leukocyte counts (white blood cells, WBC) and serum levels of total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, sensiti...
متن کاملSerum adiponectin levels in women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
BACKGROUND Adiponectin is regarded as a possible link between adiposity and insulin resistance. The study aim was to measure serum adiponectin levels in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and to assess possible correlations between adiponectin and the hormonal or metabolic parameters of the syndrome. METHODS Eighty-five selected women were classified as: Group I (n = 35) with PCOS + ...
متن کاملAssociation between serum levels of Adipokines and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder associated with metabolic disorders and infertility. Evidence suggests that the adipose tissue secreted products, adipokines, play an important role in the pathophysiology of PCOS. Reciprocally, PCOS influences on the adipokines serum content, also on gene or protein expression of some of them. Finding out of assoc...
